Large white rectangular wicker basket is a functional and attractive storage and display solution. A dense, even weave creates a strong rim, and a solid plywood bottom reinforces the structure and increases the basket’s stability. Practical locking casters allow easy movement and secure positioning, while decorative handles make maneuvering simple. The interior is finished with a jute lining trimmed with lace and tied with drawstrings, protecting contents and neatly concealing the basket’s interior. Unlike popular materials such as rattan, reed, cane, straw, water hyacinth or bamboo, our products are made from authentic Polish willow — natural, durable and prized for exceptional quality and timeless character.
The basket is made in the European Union from natural, bleached willow according to Polish weaving traditions inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Each piece is handcrafted — hand weaving ensures care and durability that mass production cannot match. It’s an eco-friendly choice for the home, without unnecessary plastics.
As a firewood basket it performs excellently: you can comfortably store logs and smaller kindling. The lining reduces bark and sawdust scattering, keeping the floor around the fireplace cleaner. The jute liner is removable but not suitable for machine washing. Clean the liner by vacuuming or dry brushing; remove stains with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe the wicker basket with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Throughout the year it can also be used as a storage basket for fruit, vegetables or nuts — the breathable weave supports air circulation.
