Large rectangular wicker basket is a functional and attractive solution for storage and display. A dense, even weave creates a strong rim, and a solid plywood base reinforces the structure and increases the basket's stability. Practical casters with brakes allow easy movement and secure positioning, and decorative handles make maneuvering simpler. The interior is finished with a jute lining, decorated with lace and tied with drawstrings, which protects the contents and neatly conceals the basket's interior. Unlike popular materials such as rattan, reed, cane, straw, water hyacinth or bamboo, our products are made from authentic Polish wicker – natural, durable and valued for their exceptional quality and timeless character.
The basket is made in the European Union from natural wicker according to Polish weaving traditions entered on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Each piece is handcrafted – hand weaving ensures a level of care and solidity that mass production cannot achieve. It is an environmentally and home-friendly choice, free of unnecessary plastics.
As a firewood basket it works excellently: you can conveniently store logs and smaller kindling. The lining limits shedding of bark and sawdust, keeping the floor around the fireplace cleaner. The jute lining is removable but not suitable for machine washing. Clean the lining by vacuuming or dry brushing, and remove stains with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe the wicker basket with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Throughout the year you can also use it as a storage basket for fruits, vegetables or nuts – the breathable weave supports air circulation.
