Bawira large round wicker storage basket for display, with handles and jute trim TheWickerStories

Round, large wicker basket for storage and display. The sturdy base reinforces the entire construction, providing high stability. There are handles on the sides for easy carrying. The interior is finished with a jute lining tied with drawstrings. The lining is removable but not suitable for machine washing. Clean the lining by vacuuming or dry brushing, and remove stains with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The wicker basket only needs wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Dimensions: Ø54 H:48/54 (cm).

As a firewood basket it works excellently: you can conveniently store logs and smaller kindling. The lining reduces the scattering of bark and sawdust, keeping the floor around the fireplace cleaner. Throughout the year you can also use it as a storage basket for fruits, vegetables or nuts – the breathable weave promotes air circulation. In shops and the HoReCa sector it serves as a practical product display, attracting customers' attention. It also works well as a promotional stand for items you want to highlight, e.g. wine, preserves, cheeses and other regional products. As a baguette display basket it ensures an attractive presentation – the length and shape of the bread remain clearly visible, making it easier for customers to choose.

Unlike popular materials such as rattan, reed mats, cane, straw, water hyacinth or bamboo, our products are made from authentic Polish wicker – natural, durable and valued for their exceptional quality and timeless character.

The basket was made in the European Union from natural wicker according to Polish weaving traditions inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Choose a sturdy, hand-woven wicker basket that works by the fireplace, at home and in retail spaces. It’s a durable, natural and functional solution for many years.
